Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD)

Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) is an advanced technique of therapeutic endoscopy for superficial gastrointestinal neoplasms in three steps: injection of fluid into the submucosa to elevate the lesion from the muscle layer; incision of the mucosa surrounding the lesion; and dissection of the submucosal connective tissue beneath the lesion. Our endoscopy center offers ESD for gastrointestinal superficial cancer by highly trained doctors.
