As pediatric allergy specialists, we mainly deal with food allergies, bronchial asthma, and atopic dermatitis. First and foremost, we propose standard treatment based on appropriate diagnosis to the patients and their families, and follow through by working together with families throughout treatment. In allergy cases, it is essential to identify the cause, so we utilize a wide variety of tests, ranging from blood tests to skin prick tests and food oral load tolerance tests. We perform approximately 150 such tests every year, utilizing a combination of tests to provide the most accurate possible diagnosis. For bronchial asthma, we conduct pulmonary function tests, exhaled nitric oxide measurement tests, airway resistance tests, and airway hypersensitivity tests (such as Astograph test system or exercise stress testing) to determine the best treatment for the pediatric patient. For atopic dermatitis cases, we provide skin care or ointment treatment while determining the causes and exacerbators. Our team combines the knowledge and skills of nurses highly experienced with allergic diseases and qualified as Child Allergy Educators, childcare workers active in childhood and development medicine research, and specialized nutritionists. Our mission is to provide new information and enlightenment about allergies, not only for patients and parents, but also for society. If you are concerned about allergies, please do not hesitate to contact us. We also actively collaborate with other institutions to conduct clinical trials and nationwide clinical research, with the goal of developing more effective treatments. Our in-house clinical research focuses on identifying causes and developing treatments for possible future allergic diseases.
