Fukuyama Medical Center consists of many departments, each of which are divided into specialties. So, the role of General Internal Medicine is mainly to provide consultation and diagnosis for patients who are unsure which department they should visit, patients with many kinds of symptoms, or patients who need immediate primary care. Once the appropriate medical department is determined, we will promptly refer patients.
