Interventional radiology (IVR)

About us

Interventional Radiology (IVR) is a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure utilizing various radiological diagnostic procedures, which is less invasive than surgical operation. IVR can be broadly divided into vascular IVR and nonvascular (targeting solid organs) IVR. We offer vascular IVR three days a week, providing embolotherapy treatments for conditions such as hepatoma and severe bleeding, as well as sclerotherapy treatments such as reservoir intra-arterial injection therapy and gastric varices. Non-vascular IVR perform procedures such as percutaneous needle biopsy, and CT-guided marking for small lung lesions before thorascopic surgery.
